Apollo X Range Of Submersible Iridium GPS LED Flasher Beacons

The Apollo X range of  submersible Iridium self-locating flasher beacons have been carefully designed to track and monitor various equipment deployed in the marine environment, remaining dormant while submerged, attached to any high value asset to ensure a quick and easy recovery. Using Iridium SBD messages to send GPS locations, all our submersible Iridium beacons can be tracked using our XeosOnline web application.

Apollo X1

Subsurface Iridium/LED mooring location beacon. 1 D-Cell lithium battery (not included) for shorter deployments. Titanium enclosure with 6,000m depth rating.

Apollo X1 is a miniature, low voltage version of the Apollo. Deployment time of up to 1 year below the surface gives 44 days transmission time at the surface.

Subsurface Iridium/LED mooring location beacon. 3 D-Cell lithium batteries (not included). Titanium enclosure with 11,000m depth rating.

Apollo X3 offers a shorter, lighter package compared to the Apollo for easier mounting in confirmed locations. Deployment time of up to 1 year below the surface gives 132 days transmission time at the surface.

The Apollo X7 is an independently powered, self-contained mooring beacon with the power of an ultra-bright LED flasher combined with satellite communications. Deployment time of up to 1 year below the surface gives 175 days transmission time at the surface.

Nemo X - Submerged Vehicle Power Loss Sensing

Vehicle Power Loss Sensing Subsurface Serial Data Relay, Titanium enclosure with 7,500m depth rating. This version of the Nemo X beacon has been configured so its high-visibility LED flasher automatically activates subsea in the event of vehicle power loss. This allows the ROV or AUV to be more easily located during recovery operations, reducing time spent searching and limiting disruption to ongoing subsea activity. Relays bi-directional serial data via Iridium SBD. Receives vehicle and platform commands via SBD. Also acts as recovery beacon by transmitting GPS location via Iridium Cables includes LED Flasher, battery packs sold separately.

Subsurface Iridium location beacon (no LED). Titanium enclosure. Submersible to 11,000m. (Must specify alkaline or lithium)

Continuously monitors for un-planned or accidental release of subsurface instrument moorings. Uses bi-directional, global, real time Iridium Satellite SBD network in combination with GPS position location. Deployment time up to 547 days below the surface, 30 days transmission time at the surface.

Subsurface Ultra-bright Mini LED flasher. XMF-Flare is a version of the XMF with a relay switch for detecting ‘power loss’ from a vehicle or mooring, activating the LED while submerged. Rover X

Bi-directional Iridium Satellite location beacon for surface deployments. Lasts for ~ 2,000 transmissions, 10m rated.

Track buoys or ASVs via independent dual GPS and Iridium antennas. In the event the mounting surface is flipped over, Rover will continue to record its position and transmit it back to base. Deployment time up to 1096 days at the surface.

Oil Spill Kit Emergency Response. Provides real time tracking over an area of the water’s surface, mapping ocean currents, oil spills, and other phenomena. OSKER is a single use air-deployed Iridium surface tracker, with antennas and integrated power.
